This chapter shall take effect on July 1st, 2025, to allow departments adequate time to transition to compliance.
Certain records and information maintained or produced by the Foundation may require varying levels of restriction on public dissemination. The classification of such information shall be determined based on the potential negative impacts of disclosure, specifically in relation to the following factors:
Gameplay Integrity: Public dissemination of the information could compromise fairness, balance, or the immersion of gameplay as intended by Special Containment Facilities.
Operational Integrity: Public dissemination of the information could jeopardize the due process of Foundation proceedings or interfere with its operations.
Detriment to Privacy, Safety, or Well-Being: Public dissemination of the information could lead to disturbances or harm to an individual's privacy, safety, or well-being, such as through exposure of personal information or knowledge that could be exploited to target or unlawfully scrutinize an individual.
Moreover, information deemed private but not of public relevance may receive minimal classification, granting the discretion for dissemination solely to the subject of the information. For example, an appellant may disclose the final determination of their own Internal Tribunal Department hearing; however, such information must not be shared openly by others.
